It’s not too good, not too bad. The burglaries keep on coming, and Montalbano begins to despair that he will never get to the bottom of things.
The detective shares many of my traits. Purely to amuse us, Anbelica think. I listened more our of sense of ‘duty’ to complete the series rather than of enjoyment or engagement. In this episode Montalbano is investigating a string of quite clever burglaries and meets a beautiful young woman who sweeps him off his feet and transports him back to his early youth, and reignites his childhood fantasies about the beautiful Angelica in Orlando Furioso.
As is usual we hear about the troubled relationship between Montalbano and his girlfriend who lives on the mainland and occasionally flies in to have yet another argument with sorrisl.
