Nick Cooper, the main character, is great. Two negative takeaways here, however. We have prodigies, geniuses, the “gifted,” etc. When is it okay to bug your own citizens? I should feel something for the characters good or bad.
This book is apparently the first in a series and I absolutely cannot wait for the next book to be released next year. This comment form is under antispam protection. But to catch him, Cooper will have to violate everything he believes in – and betray his own kind. Ironically, Nick just discovered that his four-year-old daughter is a high-level abnorm whose abilities have attracted attention.
