Monday Mourning / Bare Bones (Temperance Brennan, #6-7)

This book is not yet featured on Listopia. Jun 11, Reiichs rated it liked it. I would give 3. However I did not find the story maybe due to the writing as compelling as the other books of hers that I have read. Story seemed to drag in places. Still an ok read. Oct 31, Michelle Mazwi rated it really liked it. Thoroughly enjoyed both books. May 26, Bill Thibadeau rated it liked it.

This is a review of Bare Bones only. Sorry to say that this is the second consecutive Kathy Reichs book that I struggled to enjoy.

She followed the same method of resorting to checklists to review the status of the characters and the story line. Her manner of inserting entertaining tidbits was the only real good part of the book.

I found this book to be uninspiring and a common storyline. That is a shame given the multitude of mondday must be interesting cases in her forensic anthropology work. Ms R This is a review of Bare Bones only.

Ms Reichs is my wife’s favorite author so we have all her books. I will go onto the next in the mondzy in hopes the story improves. Aug 22, Tara rated it really rsichs it.

This was the most gruesome of hers I have read. When I was finished I felt sad, and horrified at the atrocities that humans are willing to try on one another. The Andrew Ryan storyline is getting a little old for me. The back and forth, the worry about whether he is cheating when he always has a full explanation–enough.
