Sep 09, PJ rated it really liked it. It became a bit draggy and cumbersome. The only thing that really bugged me about the story as a whole, was although I enjoyed North, he became the center star more in the story leaving Amanda almost a secondary character in his wake, sometimes lacking some substance to make her stand out as North. Many of us are anxious dishonoe read Ms. The story is not dated at all, in fact it was actually better than I remembered it.
Oct 13, Ana T. I did enjoy this book. I didn’t feel that the specifics of his illegitimacy were that important to their stories. Even if set aside the inconvenient facts and just talk fairy tales, where the impossible happens, still, even at that level, this is only mediocre.
